A transit oriented development (TOD) in the City of Miami with a high degree of complexity due to its location adjacent to one of the metro stations with highest traffic in the city. It also required to take into account and integrate the design for the “Underline” park- a linear park- that will run along US-1.
The mix-use development program includes:
-Three residential, 40-story towers with parking.
-One office tower with parking.
-One full size grocery store with designated parking and exclusive designated service area.
-One hotel, 20-story tower.
-Public space and clear pedestrian flow throughout the entire plan, taking into account levels of privacy and connection to services.
Note: This work was done during my tenure at Stantec and the concept was developed together with fellow Designer Architect Agustin Salas
